The DMS offers spaces for digital making (Podcasting, 3D object creation, and graphic art design), Virtual Reality, and collaboration. These spaces require a UNCW email to make a reservation. You will need to check in with staff when you arrive (click the title of a service to begin the reservation process, or click the image to learn more about the space or technology):

Virtual Reality - The Digital Makerspace has multiple VR stations and portable classroom options. Our ever-growing list of VR titles is supported by Steam.
We are equipped with 2 Valve Index Virtual Reality Headsets. Students and faculty alike can use the Digital Makerspace Virtual Reality suite for education or leisure.
Graphics Tablet - The Digital Makerspace has a station inside the DMS that can be used to design for and use a 3d Printer once you have received training or use the attached Dell Canvas Graphics Tablet as an additional display for easy digital art creation
Podcasting -To use the Podcasting Studio, make a reservation using your UNCW email address and then check in with the Digital Makerspace Staff before or during your scheduled reservation. In addition to 4 microphones attached to a Rodecaster Pro mixing station, this room also serves as a multipurpose small-scale streaming and greenscreen studio. Users will need their UNCW ID to be able to use the room. Please do not bring food or drink into the Podcasting Studio.
